Tomorrow the show goes on the road. QB will be driving over 900 miles, alone. He’s trying to find audio books as we speak. Logistics just aren’t right for me to drive down with him and fly back. But, I can make muffins and pack a suitcase.
I just downed my shake, and it’s now time to get busy. We have errands, packing, and probably many other things to do that escape me at the moment. I really really want to go; I haven’t been down to visit since January 2009. After QB gets back (in about a month), I am going to fly down for a weekend trip. I also love love road trips, and wish I could drive down there with QB for more selfish reasons besides just helping him drive. Ah, let’s get back to the food report…..
Yesterday’s food was typical, and today’s food will likely look a lot like yesterday since today is just going to be busy busy. Last night, just after I started measuring out my juice ingredients, I decided to snap a pic of all my muffins on the counter. I made two batches of berry muffins for QB to take with him, and the carrot gingerbread muffins in the bottom right are mine. When I have leftover batter when making the gluten free berry muffins, I just pour it into a small pan rather than cooking 3-5 muffins in another batch.
