More, more, more, and more. Apparently, that was my theme yesterday. The work day was fine, nothing notable to speak of there. It’s was the “after” in which the “more” started happening.
The first “More”:
More bleach. Not the kitchen kind, or toilet kind, or washer kind – as if there is any difference. I’m referring to the hair kind. The red had to go. It was becoming faded -which never looks pretty, and my ashy (that never use to be ashy) roots were growing in. Change was immanent. The first bleach experience happened the day before work. It would have happened a few days before that, but the Joe Incident happened. So, yesterday evening was “more”. But it was the final more. My hair is complete. Blond is a new look for me, and I am still learning to embrace the bold-for-me’ness of it all. I do like it, and I don’t have to worry about it fading.
The second more:
An additional guacamole wrap wasted no time in finding it’s way into my stomach just after work. My total calories were boosted to 1500, and I was planning on just drinking hot tea the rest of my evening. It’s more’ness didn’t last long. It was delicious, and I was greedy. I tried to make it last, but my gobbling reflexes were starting to expose themselves. Yum.
The third more:
Time. I stayed up way past what should have been my bedtime. Lately, I tend to really draw out going bed. I spent a lot of that time talking to QB, which really was another “more”, but I’ll bundle it in with this one. I think I finally turned of the light and hung up the phone in between 2 and 3am. I also suppose my extra sleep could count as another “more” too, but time allowed me both QB and the sleep so they shall remained named, but unindividualized.
The final more:
Hunger. Since I stayed up later, I became very hungry around Midnight. Trying not to succumb, I drank several glasses of both hot green tea and cold Earl Gray green tea. I finally gave into my desire for more food. My final more was another bowl of peach oatmeal. I ate it really close to my actual bed time, which may have not been best, but it was what it was. My calories were boosted to around 1750.
Here is my more’ness food list and nutritional report. Enjoy.
