The thing I love best about my current yoga routine is that it really focuses on my back. My back is always tight from stress. I’m looking to change that. Permanently. The magazine I took this workout from has 7 other workouts in it. And other poses. This is really the perfect way for me to start a yoga practice. I can learn in the comfort of my own home, on my own schedule, with my own music choices, and I can wear my PJs. :-)
Today, I actually did my yoga routine twice! Once not long after I woke up. I was excited to do my yoga today, so I couldn’t hold off til later. QB actually sat with me afterward and did a few poses to help stretch his back. Little does he know I’m secretly trying to convert him to a yoga fan too. He can stress out a lot like I can. He actually started trying to deal with his stress before me though. But not with yoga. So I’m going to convert him. I did my yoga thing again before bed. I was getting a bit worked up and started stressing. So I hit the mat. In a peaceful kind of way though. And it was just what I needed.
Food today was here and there. Mostly healthy, some not. Low calorie though. I still have a weird appetite, but it’s close to what I’ve deemed my normal. Since I’m not stressing over food, I may eat some things less than ideal. I’m not going to pressure myself and force it. I’m still in a transition phase. If I push it, I’m not going to accomplish what I am really aiming for. I’ll just end up back where I started. So, my food is just flowing right now. I have a semi-plan, and I am semi-sticking to it.
The key is to enjoy my transition to a less-stressed yoga loving healthy CR’ed person. I was a wound-tight CR’ed person always stressing about being better yesterday. I’m taking everything one day at a time. I don’t think I’ve ever done that. I’m always rushing to the finish line only to realize I moved the finish line farther and farther away. Well that’s not fair! Hrumph! And I’m not going to stand for it anymore.
Here’s my healthy and not so healthy eats for today. I made a “new” juice. This juice is one I made back when I first started juicing in the latter half of 2005. So, this juice goes way back for me. And I still love it! It is simple, and very tasty. My other juices were not appetizing sounding today, so I tried this. Yum! This juice is going to be around for a while. The apples made the stevia unneeded, and I’m not going to stress over apples right now. Nope, just not going to do it. Ha!

Honestly neither one of these were that great. Tried other vegan candy bars by this brand and they were good, but didn't care for this one -QB liked it though. And my hot cocoa had a strange taste. Too much hemp. Never thought I'd say that.
