I’ve had two weeks of back to back health struggles. Between the flu, the suspected TIA (transient ischemic attack), and a poor reaction to a medicine given to me in the ER after the TIA I think I am finally coming out the other side. My posting has slowed to a crawl because I didn’t want to force it after my stressful evening on the 5th with my suspected TIA.
And after a short hiatus, I’m getting the writing itch again…not backed by stress.
I don’t think I’ve ever had ~2weeks of health problems, appetite problems, stress, and all the other “joys” that come with these type of problems. So, I took it as an opportunity to just take a break. A break from writing, a break from my usual food routines (mainly due to appetite issues), and a break from cleaning the house too….QB wasn’t too excited about that last one, but he understood. :-)
So now that I’m coming around again, I’m excited to start a new chapter. Hopefully with a new outlook, a stress management plan, and some new found energy that has been pitifully absent.
I feel the excitement tingles and the itch to plan. Where this will lead me, I’m not sure yet. But I like this feeling; good things have come from these tingles in the past. :-) I think it is also a sign that my body has triumphed over my sicky issues, and is ready to get back to living!
Thanks to all of those who wished me well, whether it was stated openly or not.
Hopefully I can use these past few weeks as motivation to make some major changes in the way I handle stress. I really haven’t been trying hard in this department, and I’ve been warned I need to take stress seriously. Diet is important, but it’s not the only thing to pay attention to!
I’ll be getting back to regular posting very soon if not now. I’m in the middle of a work shift, so I may take it easy until it’s over.
So here’s to a new outlook, a new stress plan, and making changes that stick!
I know I’m not waiting until New Year’s to make my changes. However, I do need to figure out just what changes I intend to make. :-)
Time to take charge!
