I’m going to keep this short. Just a little update before I go back to regular posting.
After I got over my flu, I had a problem with my chronic illnessĀ yesterday that landed me in the hospital last night. Fun. After several CT scans, and a few different brain MRIs, nothing worrisome showed up, so I was given a completely new medication (added to my regular pile) and was held over night for observation.
I have a follow up with my neurologist Monday, so we can talk about medication and he may order some new test.
Anyhow, I am doing pretty good right now, but the whole incident rattled QB and I.
So, I’m going to ease back into regular posting.
For most of my flu, I ate clementines and bread because my appetite was so screwy.
Today, I have a bag of cherries, another box of clementines, and an Amy’s Vegan Ziti Pasta microwave meal. The hospital food was too scary and nasty to touch. Ha. I’m just winging it with food right now. I’m trying to keep it at least on the healthier side, and staying vegan is easy.
Well, I’m still here. Once I am able to get my to my usual routine, I should be good. Any big interruption to my routine usually throws me for a bit of a loop.
So….here’s to getting my routine back! :-)

Hey Sie! Welcome back, I hope you are feeling better soon. Guess what? I’m writing this comment from my lovely hospital room:) I have been here since yesterday and should be going home tomorrow. I don’t know what your health issues are, mine are GI related. Yowza. Not fun.
Hang in there, lady, your fruit sounds yummers. I’m on an upgraded full liquid diet now, which is better than NPO which I was until this afternoon.

GI issues = NOT FUN. QB has Ulcerative Colitis….not fun at all.
I was lucky enough to only be held overnight. I got to leave around 2pm today. I have brain problems that my neurologist is still trying to figure out…I haven’t decided if I am going to write the details on my blog…all depends on what they find…so far several test have come back normal, which leaves the doctors all confused. Ha. Leave it up to me to be a complicate case. :-p
Today I got to leave the hospital just in time to get around for work. So, today was a strange day. I’m so ready to get back into my routine after such a chaotic week that ended with a grand finale.
Hope your gut get better!! That is not fun.
