Today was a higher calorie day due to some comfort food after a bad visit trying out a potential new doctor. Some doctors don’t analyze, they just try to make everyone fit in some box they learned in med school. And god forbid their patients have their own opinions and want a say in their treatment. I didn’t say anything rude, but I did walk out on that doctor. Things like that really leave me in a pissy mood for a while.
Since we were very hungry after all that unnecessary drama, QB and I headed to our favorite co-op grocery for a wrap. We split a wrap, then I joined him in eating some corn chips and a vegan peanut better cookie. Can we say, hello calories! I tend to be an angry eater, so my emotional state wasn’t helping. Ha
Later on in the evening, after we had picked apart the whole situation with the doctor and why she was uncompromising, I went ahead and ate my red curry even though I was super hungry, but it just seemed like it would hit the spot. And it did. It was so what I needed. Then I had my juice which was lovely as usual. So, here I am. Obviously still a bit frazzled by the doctor, but at least I have many options around here. It’s just frustrating running into someone so arrogant, completely un-empathetic, and even indignant when I tried to offer explanations of my methodology and reasons I do things. Grrrrr. So, I just had to get this off my chest without going into too much detail.
