The Gaint Sorbet That Wasn’t

Posted on 28 October 2010 by sie

When I started making my very delicious hemp smoothies -which turned into sorbet when I got an ice cream maker- I was adding about 1/4C of water to the recipe. But when I am making my sorbet during a very hungry moment, I want to feel like I am getting more. Since this recipe has such strongly flavored ingredients, I can easily get away with adding more water to boost the volume of my sorbet without adding any calories. My sorbet comes out huge -which looks wonderful to a hungry belly. :-p

Last night, I ended up adding a whole cup of water instead of my 1/4 or maybe 1/2C. My sorbet looked so ridiculous, I just had to take a picture for y’all.

More volume, same calories, same great taste!!

The ingredients haven’t changed because I like this recipe too much to experiment. I suppose that’s a good thing. Ha.

Food for yesterday was pretty standard.
