Yesterday morning, as I pulled out from the work parking lot in the dark drizzling coldness I was consumed with the desire to consume carrot juice. I decided to do a drive by dash at Wegmans to get my fix, and ended up buying an individual 16oz container as well as a 64oz jug of Odwalla carrot juice (my favorite brand when I buy instead of juicing myself).
I readily enjoyed my 16 ounces on the drive home, but something possessed me and between the hour before I went to bed after getting home and the hour after waking up late in the afternoon, I completely emptied the 64oz jug. What can I say, I’m a carrot juice addict. I love the stuff, and apparently cannot be allowed in the same house as a fresh supply.
Making my own everyday involves work and planning, but when it is pre-juiced and staring at me when I open the fridge, I apparently cannot say “No”. I was even going to take a picture of my pretty glass of juice, but it didn’t last long enough. Neither did the next or the next after that. Lol. I drank about 700 calories of carrot juice between yesterday and today. I decided to forgo my juice today, but will pick back up tomorrow with the fresh juiciness.
I want to find some new recipes. Fresh raw salad type recipes in which I can put to use my olive oil. I’ve been eating my olive oil in a very simple way, which is fine, but some change is nice too.
I’m still eating my stew very very spicy. I like to push my limits with my spice tolerance. I tend to do this once a year or so until I get bored with it. But right now, I’m still very much interested in struggling to eat every bite. Taking a break, sipping my tea, then resuming my very spicy stew. I need to do some research on capsicum since I am eating a lot right now.
Ok, I’m off to find some raw low sugar new recipe to add to my routine. ;-)
