Brussels Snack Attack

Posted on 07 October 2010 by sie

The night I was consumed with the urge to purchase the bunch of asparagus, I also bought some brussels sprouts. I am fond of each, and like to roast them with a little sea salt and garlic powder. Asparagus doesn’t keep nearly as long, so it had to go first (and I almost ate it too late). Today was the brussels’ day.

Their green crispness is strangely soothing as I pluck apart a few of their leaves and toss them with sea salt and garlic. So tasty when they are done. I’m sad I only bought enough for one night, but I have to go to wegmans tomorrow, so I will find some more greenness to take home.

Today was a quiet, stay at home, kind of day. It was very peaceful for the most part, and a nice post work recovery day. Tomorrow is going to be a social day, with some fun filled activities in the evening and MORE THAI! I have been thinking of that crazy spicy Thai curry, and am going out with a friend for some more tomorrow. That stuff must have addictive properties. Ha.
