Yesterday’s Baja Deviation

Yesterday, I just wasn’t feeling my taco soup for lunch so I decided to get in on the Crew lunch order once again. This time I ordered an old favorite from a new place, and it was so good.

The first time I went vegan, which was down in the deep south, restaurant options were very limited. Mexican food was usually one of the best options for flexible ordering. My favorite dish quickly became a side salad, no cheese, with guacamole for dressing. Since I wasn’t concerned with calories or AGEs back then I often ate it with corn chips, but yesterday I just had the salad.

My exact order was 2 side salads (since they are usually small), no cheese, and an 8oz container of guacamole. This added up to about 350 calories according to their nutritional charts on their website. Cool.

Today started off well. Lots of sleep last night, so I’m expecting a great day. The hemp berry sorbet I the other night turned out great, so I want to share a few pic of that before I put yesterday’s food up. Yum.
