I am fully recognizing a pattern now. When I get little sleep, or when I am at the end of a long day and am very tired, I am hungry. Yesterday, I was operating off of a full night’s rest. It was wonderful! Today wasn’t so great with the sleep. As a result, I have been super hungry.
Yesterday, not only did I not have to fight off the sleepies while at work on day shift (unusual for me), but I also didn’t have any issues fighting off hunger or munchies. None. Today, my stomach was growling. My stomach almost never growls. I ordered two small sides with the group from the Crew’s choice of Boston Market today to help tied me over until I could go home. On a less busy day, I could have made a quick grocery store run.
Anywho, I’m still beaming with over my cholesterol numbers from yesterday. My Father tells me my good HDL number runs on my mother’s side of the family. Apparently my Mother’s number is similar to mine, and supposedly my Materal Grandmather’s HDL is around 100! What? Wow. I don’t even….
With the exception of a few details, my major meals will be the same this work shift (big surprise, right?). I’ll go over yesterday’s food, and go ahead a speculate for today since I have planned what I am going to eat when I get home.
