Introversion, Extroversion, and End of Day for June 28th.

I am having so much fun with my new biomarker quest and book stack. I think I may be (ok, I am, I admit it) compensating for QB’s absence. As a result of my compensation attempts/methods, I am more aware of my strange personal mix of introversion and extroversion. While I desperately enjoy my own time, I tend to prefer if I have my own time with people in close proximately. Think laptop and coffee shop as an example, although I also have this environment at work too. I just find comfort in having people near by, whether or not I have the desire to interact with them.

However, when I specifically meet with someone(s), I can talk and ramble for hours. I am very loquacious, and like to spend time around people to get outside of my own head – as long as it isn’t in direct competition with a “me” project. I’ll abandon having people around for me projects with a quickness.  But I am not always consumed with an idea or around people to talk with. When I’m not to preoccupied in such ways, I think I have taken up writing to fill this gap – or to give QB a break since he has heard most of my ramblings multiple times. Ha.

More on my biomarkers, though. My test kit didn’t come with any test strips, so I called the company and they are overnighting me 3 rolls of strips! That’s around ~$50 in strips. And, with the rebate in the box, I am only pay about $4 for the glucose meter kit. Nice. So, no blood glucose testing until Wednesday. I am very very curious to see these results, but nervous I will have to do some major diet experimentation. I can start tomorrow off my checking my temp, blood pressure, and resting hearth rate though -but the big data lies in my blood glucose right now.

My smoothie with the hemp milk this morning (afternoon) was tasty. The difference was subtle, but I liked it better. The hemp milk added to the flavor and made it seem more complete. I will be doing this from now on since I like it so much. I call my new smoothie the Hemp Squared Strawberry Smoothie, but nothing is different except replacing the almond milk with hemp.  If I had some hemp oil (I did, but it was yummingly used up), I could call it my Hemp Cubed Smoothie…hum…ideas…ideas…

As a final note, I need to remind myself to look into my B-vitamin intake – I am worried I am taking in too many of some…..

    Ok, I just have to say: Nerd! :P I can’t wait to see what your new toys reveal. I’m like you too with being a little reclusive/introverted. But I do need a few friends even if I don’t see them regularly, or ever, ha.

    Makes sense! I dated a virgo a few times – get along great w them!!! And very smart & organized, as well – you seem to be! Happy upcoming BDay!!! BTW – when are we doing RAW or VEGGIE day again? Maybe every 17th of each month?
