March’s Way Overdue Monthly CRON-O-Meter Review

Posted on 01 June 2010 by sie

This is getting fun, and REALLY lighting a fire under my butt. Ha. I am seriously getting more focused after looking at all these days. This should be a tip. Monthly review FTW! Here we go with March. Note that since this is a time warp, you may have to look at the recipe posts around this time frame too. Ha.

Even though I was eating a lot more raw foods, I really had more deviations from healthy eating. Maybe the raw foods weren’t as mentally satisfying, so I “allowed” myself to have treats more, or maybe it was more of my sugar issues coming to a head. Either way, I don’t like all those sweet candy deviations and regular ginger and sesame candy treats. I feel much more in control with how I eat now, and I still need to make some changes.

Lets look at these tell tale numbers. First, note that calories are more than both April and May. Then, OMG look at the sugar- MORE THAN TWICE of what I eat now. And, the fiber is less. All my nutrients are on track, I always made sure those were good. Omega-3 is more than April, but less than May. Omega-6 is starting to get on the high side. Surprisingly, there is not much change in my Leucine and Methionine values, BUT my cholesterol is much higher than April and May.

I am glad I “snapped” in April and started changing things up. I think my issues went beyond food boredom.
